Laeeque provided an overview of the challenges of mobile mining equipment maintenance, including the operating contexts and constraints, along with the state-of-the-art in technology solutions. The common pitfalls of lack of systems integration, limited understanding of failure modes, and inconsistent business processes, as well as other fundamental issues related to reliability and maintenance effectiveness of such equipment, were illustrated through case studies.
